Do you need someone to organize, set up, or check your non-smoking business or start up's chart of accounts, financial records, or books? Have you s l o w l y come to the realization that you don't know how to use your financial accounting software and it is affecting your bottom line and your sleep? Are you embarrassed by the state of your books (don't worry, I've seen worse)? Does the thought of spending time doing the bookkeeping side of your business send you into a depression? Would you rather make more money doing what you do best rather than dealing with the Castor Oil of paperwork? Or maybe you like to suffer? Has your company grown to the point where it would be nice to have someone, perhaps an Advanced Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor like myself come in on a regular basis to train, tutor, teach, and instruct you and your staff in QuickBooks® (for Windows or Mac), Peachtree®, or Microsoft Small Business Accounting or their new Office Accounting® or Accounting Express® to do your bookkeeping and financial reports and let you make more money by doing what you really enjoy doing? Or would you rather sit in the dark? Well, let's chat on the phone for up to 30 minutes free of charge about what your problems are, what I can do for you, what would be the best QuickBooks software to use for your industry, and to bounce ideas off of. After all, it can be pretty lonely running a business. We all need to talk about it with someone in the same boat. You can start the ball rolling by sending me an e-mail or by calling me at 206-789-8328. You’ve hired an attorney, accountant, insurance broker, business coach, public relations expert, marketing, and other professional consultants to help you set up, start and manage or run your business. Shouldn’t you hire someone to teach you how to effectively use the accounting software that you will be relying on to discover how well you are (or aren't) doing? Or generate an accurate profit and loss statement for your lender when you decide to expand or buy a competitor or another business? Or would you rather walk in the dark with no financial lantern? I can help you solve some of the following common accounting software, bookkeeping issues and problems:
I have a Bachelor's degree from the University of Iowa, completed two years of law school at Seattle University, was the former operations and office manager with a "cents" of humor for a professional services (architectural) firm that did around 2 million a year in business, had 15-18 employees, and a 22-30% profit margin. During my two and half years with the firm, I was invited to speak about my experiences with QuickBooks and office management issues at my professional association's national convention. Previously, I was a career temporary (administrative assistant) for seven years, securities arbitrator, real estate agent, VISTA volunteer for Solid Ground (formerly Fremont Public Association), and patient financial and collections representative for the UW Medical Center. All you have to gain is your self-confidence and self-respect by making your bookkeeping and accounting software program work for you, instead of the other way around. My goal is to teach you how to make your own financial bread for yourself and work myself out of a job except for regular checkups (and hopefully, lots of referrals from you!) And as for the question you've been wondering while you were reading this web page, as a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and former "COO", I offer three tiers of pricing. If you need me to solve a specific problem, I am available for $120 an hour with a one hour minimum including travel in King and Snohomish Counties. Point of Sale or Enterprise software help, support, training, or set up is $120 an hour with no discounts due to the complexity of the software or in the case of Point of Sale requires using two or more Intuit products. If you need more time and savings and use Quicken, QuickBooks Pro, or any version of QuickBooks Premier, I only charge $295 for up to three consecutive hours of training including travel noted above to you [a savings of $65 off my hourly rate] (I find that three hours works for most folks) and $90 an hour after that on the same day so you can learn how how to fish for yourself or make Tofu if you are a vegan, the freedom to sleep at night and count pennies instead of sheep, and to sit and count your profits in the light. If you want set up, review, and unlimited support or training in person, over the phone, or via e-mail for one person in one company file in QuickBooks Pro for the PC or Mac or Premier only if not using the advanced features (features unique to the program) of the latter, the cost is $1,195 plus mileage for one year (or less than $100 a month). Training can be anywhere in King or Snohomish Counties and there is no travel time charge. Payment is expected at the time of service. I take cash or checks or GoogleCheckOut, PayPal, Mastercard, and Visa plus 5% to cover credit card processing fees. Same day appointments are sometimes available. References gladly exchanged. And if you respond today, I will throw in a fully featured, unlimited use copy of QuickBooks Simple Start 2008 Edition for Windows which can be used to keep track of common household or business sources of income or expenses but you can't use online banking and the opportunity to save 20% off on QuickBooks Online if you are currently using it or to help you obtain other QuickBooks products such as QuickBooks for the Mac, Pro, Premier (all versions including Contractor, Distributors, Manufacturers, Professional Services, NonProfit, Retail, and Wholesalers), Point of Sale, and Enterprise.
